Some Areas have Trials in them. These are challenges that test the heroes, and involve dice. They might be something like walking a tight rope across a ravine, or trying to engage in diplomatic relations for the sake of persuasion. There are any number of different kinds of Trials! They work as described in the "Resolving Trials" section below.
At the beginning of a Trial the GM describes it and its goal, states what Ability is being tested, and the Trial's Difficulty.
